My daughter is 2 and I believe she is experiencing night terrors! She sits up and screams a blood curdling scream. If I go into her room and try to calm her she doesn't even realise I'm in there, or if she does she doesn't want to be held, throws herself on the floor or runs into things. And if I don't go in to her room she just screams until she passes out on the floor. (I don't let her go too long, maybe 2 mins max before I go in, but sometimes it's over before I get down the hall to her) Just looking for some advice or ways to deal with it?

I've heard, if you have an idea about what time it happens, scheduling a wake up before that time can prevent it.
How reguarly is this happening? If it's nightly can you pinpoint a time or if it's random can you note something she's done or eaten that day?
My son has night terrors and there awful. If we touch him it makes it worse so we have to sit and watch while he screams in sleep. They last about half an hour. It's so hard but we've learnt touching him to try and comfort him makes it worse and all we can do is watch to make sure he doesn't hurt himself.
I hate it!!!
We've seen drs about it and they asked the questions I have above.
Unfortunately If there is no trigger for them then you have to ride them out. We've been told it should stop by around 7-8.
My sons 5 and been having them since 2.
I hope your little girl stops soon and it's just nightmares she's having
Yeah they are terrifying. I have had 2 kids that has them. My daughter is now 10 and hasn't had one for a few years now so they do go away after time. My son now who is 5 now has them almost every night and they are horrible he shakes and sweats. I think his trigger is screen time though so I am in the process of trying to limit that before bed to see if that helps.
