I am the mother who wrote in last week about wanting to move out of Australia & let me just say I am HORRIFIED & DISGUSTED at the way you women responded. We are supposed to be a group of supporting women and you all like made fools of yourselves. Thank you to those who were kind and did give me advice. I only asked for ADVICE on how to start researching moving out of Australia. Not to be abused. This will be the last time I bother to write in asking for advice. What a joke this experience has been.

Could you clarify? The only post I saw was about moving to India, was this you?
It was about moving her family to Canada because Australia was too expensive and she wanted her kids to see the world
The post about moving to India was me, not this lady. ;)
I'm standing firm with my decision not to move to India! :)
I read the facebook responses and I don't think any of them were disgusting... they were simply trying to set you straight on your reasons to move to Canada. I don't think you need to take it so personally. It honestly isn't a good idea to move to Canada because you think it's too expensive here. People may have worded it wrong but they were honestly just trying to let you know before you did something you regretted
Lol i just found i t and read it - a bunch of people saying australias the best and only place to live and moving is hard.
Im theres a lot to consider withmoving countries, but many people do it and theres many many people - like those who posted - who will cut you down at the planning stage and if you do it will make out youre ridiculous crazy or reckless.just live your life.
Personally im going the slow way, but it enables long term and for it to be a good thing not a financial drain - i found a career that pays flights visas housing health insurance and private school for two kids, and great salary, i went to uni and im now getting my five years experience done then i will be able to start applying.
If you want it youll find a way.
I read the post and the ladies are right.
Australia is the best country in the world. One of the few with free health care, and high wages. So it actually works out to be one of the cheaper countries. (Could you afford a $100,000 medical bill for something you could get for free here? Even having a baby costs a lot of money in other countries)
I don't think you liked hearing that, so got offended.
You'd need to look up visa costs. See if you'd even be able to move country. (Some aren't accepting those from stable countries). Research doctors costs for your autistic child. Look up house prices. (Make sure you convert your Aussie dollar to their dollar).
Maybe see if there are any "Aussies living abroad" or "Aussies living in Canada" etc Facebook pages.
Good luck with your decision.
