I prefer positive reinforcement for doing the right things and natural consequences for doing the wrong thing. Eg vandalised something, then the child needs to pay to repair it. In our house we don't get to do the fun stuff unless our chores are done first. An example would be morning routines. Get breakfast, get dressed, brush teeth etc then the TV can go on. Weekends we don't go out until everyone's chores are done.
If you don't put your dirty clothes in the dirty clothes basket them you have to do your own washing that week.
Making the punishment fit the crime seems to work out great for us.
Thanks for that but I'm trying hard to train my 2 and one year old but the life I have with 5 is hard but thanks for the tip i will work harder my kids are young 7 5 4 2 1
