I have a friend who had her children taken off her some time ago. she now has 2 children at home and has been trying to get her daughter home for 2 years, however child protection social worker and supervisor won't return her calls have sent a few texts and are avoiding the assessment to get her home. My friend has a lawyer and they don't return or send documents to the lawyer .
Is there someone you can complain to higher than dhs is you feel your being treated unfairly not following there own procedures and policies.
They have said she can come home 2 years ago but in terms of getting her home are doing.
