This is completely normal! Don't compare your baby to others. My babe is 6 months and is still doing this. Each baby is different. The good news is it won't last forever xx

I cut the dummy out cold turkey as he was waking up 10 times a night for it, within 2 days he was resettling after a feed by himself

Not rubbing it in, but both my sons were sleeping through the night from a few weeks old. It was bliss. But guess what?
4 words!
FOUR MONTH SLEEP REGRESSION.
At 4 months, babies can go through a sleep regression where their sleep gets disrupted.
My perfect sleepers started waking sometime HOURLY overnight.
It's perfectly normal to be up multiple times a night with a 4 month old.
Give it a month or two. At around 6 months, many babies start sleeping much better.
I'd also ditch the dummy.

Is this a joke? All my kids have taken over a year to only wake twice!! At 4 months my first was up every 1.5 to 2 hours! This is perfectly normal!! Where do people get these expectations?

Save out sleep is a book that prompts this nonesense! My daughter didn't start consistently sleeping through the night until 15months old, she's now a very happy, intelligent 4 year old.
