Period after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage 5 weeks ago, I would have bn 5-6 weeks along at the time. My bleeding stopped completely after 10 days. Now this past week, I have had random spotting. Kind of like a single small clot on the first day, then nothing til two days later which was another small glob, dark red both times. Since then I've had a tiny amount of blood when I wipe but not every time. There is no pain, or foul odours. I don't want to go to the doc unless I have to, I've had enough of being poked and prodded for awhile
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it my body getting back into a cycle? Is my body still trying to remove any remnants from my pregnancy?
