Today i am a shit mum.
Laying in bed crying.
I'm such a horrible mum sometimes. My daughter hasn't been eating all her dinner the last few nights. Tonight we went out with family friends and i had enough of it. I made her eat most of it.
She ended up vomiting.
When we came home she had a temp of 39.4.
Today i am a shit mum and i just can't do it anymore.

Yes you can. You didn't know she was sick.
The number of times I've gone to work feeling fine and been spewing/sick before lunch time is testament to how suddenly it can come on too sometimes. A solution might be to get in the habit of checking her temp before making her sit and eat her dinner next time.
My solution was that when my son didn't eat his dinner it went in the fridge and every meal afterwards I'd heat up a portion, if he ate that I heated up another portion and so on until it was gone. You only want a portion though so if it's refused there is still more of it there for the next time they say they're hungry or next meal, whichever comes first and no other food was ever offered until it was all gone.
It's all a learning curve, you made a mistake, learn from it and move on.

You are NOT a shit mum. I've kinda done the same thing. Except my daughter ended up in hospital because unbeknown to me she had an overloaded bowel. Chin up mumma. We aren't meant to be superheroes. Xx
