Our 4yo daughter appears to be having Absent Seizures. She has a doctors appointment to confirm with an EEG scan. However, just wanted to hear from any parents that have children that suffer/ed from Absent Seizures and anything that you noticed triggered/lessened their occurrences. Thank you

No triggers noticed here, my sons are well controlled by medication.
Our girl has them aswell.
But she also has reflex anoxic seizures. These are triggered by he body thinking its in danger (falling hurting her self ect...) these are tonic clonic and horrific to watch.
The doctor said to read to her as her brain is clear of clutter.
The absent seizures are similar where her brain has had enough and has a holiday for a second.
