Hey ladies
I'm an almost 25yr old mum with 2 beautiful little girls 4 and 3 years.. As much as I am grateful to have these 2 amazing humans I'm not so happy with what pregnancy has done to my body!
I'm looking for any reviews, good or bad, from anyone whose had a tummy tuck done.
If you wouldn't mind sharing costs, how you recovered and how happy you were with the results I would be so appreciative. The damage to my stomach is muscle separation, stretch marks and a little bit of loose skin nothing major but enough for me not to be able to fix it with good diet and exercise, which I do eat well and exercise regularly, I'm not overweight and I'm fairly fit so I'm thinking the surgery is my only option to getting my body confidence back!!

I just had one done a couple of weeks ago. Separation was 8-10cm and I had over 2kg of skin removed. I'm fairly fit so no real pain, just inconvenience of resting while recovering! I had mine done in a public hospital and as it was medically necessary, it was covered by medicare.
Emotionally, I'm still up & down. Be prepared for tears and frustration and some crazy thoughts. I think it's just cabin fever due to the bed-rest.
My surgeon said no sport for 6 weeks but I read in an article that 9 months is more likely.
I hope that helps!
