I've been on Celapram/Cilatropam for maybe a year. I've been to councilling and have worked out most of my issues. I'm feeling emotionally well balanced and Decided to get off the medication. Dr put together a plan. First every alternate day then twice a week for 2 weeks. I'm not sure whether this is a side effect, my hormones/emotions adjusting to life without medication or if I still need to take them but these 2 weeks hace been a roller coaster of emotions. I've been ok, happy, very down and crying. Had 1 week of bad sleep
How did you feel when getting off medication?

When I came off my anxiety and depression meds I didnt notice any changes.
I'd return to your doctor. You either stil need them or a slower process
I was thinking to see the Dr. I'm assessing how I go 1 week without. *sight* :'(
Yes I was thinking to go back. I'll assess how go 1 week without but I think I may need to go back **sight** :'(
Over a year ago i got off my anti depressants/anxiety meds. What dosage are you on? Can you split the tablets?
I was on 150, then 75, 40, 20, 10, 5(the 10mg tablet halved.) Then 5 every second day. For myself it was two months of emotions and brain zaps (when having nothing at all). Get some vitamin b complex for your nerve function and eat a healthier than normal diet and avoid caffeine (if you can, i die without coffee haha).
Your body just needs sometime to get used to it, and if it turns out youre not ready dont be harsh on yourself :)
I've been on the lowest since the beginning. 10mg. I'll definitely get some vitB. May need to go to decaf coffee :)
I was on this medication for about 12 months. I hated being on it because it gave me a false sense of reality. I took myself off it and the results were horrendous. I was dizzy, emotional, sick, nauseous and very up and fish for a few months. Everything did settle down eventually with time and rest and being able to talk about it. I wish you all the best, and advise you to follow the doctors orders. I stopped because I became pregnant. Try weaning yourself off it with the help of your doctor. It's. Been 4 years now and I'm a lot better than I've ever been,
