Po box for Centrelink?

Hi I can't find any answers online so I thought I'd ask here,
I've been in a rough situation in regards to housing I have a permanent address but I don't trust my housemates with my mail. I want to set up a Po box but can I use this Po box for Centrelink as well? I just don't want my mail to be 'lost' and payments cancelled. These people are making it very difficult to live here but until my payments are sorted I can't move and money is tight so it'll be at least 6 months!

Yes you can or even better you can have your mail set to online only. I only receive my mail from Centrelink online these days and never had a problem and it won't cost you rental on a PO box.
If you do go the PO box route you ask Centrelink to change your POSTAL address and leave your residential address the same.

Oh that's really good I'll set that up and call them! I have opted for online but they still sent stuff supposedly, I think to confirm my address but because of these issues with my roommates and neighbours I don't know if they were lost or sent back. Either way I didn't get them and payments were stopped even though that's where I live, so I'm worried this will make it all look sus but I'll just explain it and hopefully it'll be resolved!

Lots of people have a Po box or different postal to residential. There is even a section on all there application forms to state both.
You should have no problems.
