About 6 days ago, i had a little sore come up on my face, the next day i had about a dozen, went to the doctors to be told they are impetigo (school sores). I have never had them before. I have no idea how on earth i got them but what i would really love to know is how to get rid of them. They are itchy and sore and rather an eyesore. Im on tablets for them that the doctor prescribed, but the tablets dont seem to be having much of an effect. Some have reduced while im finding new ones appearing. Im constantly washing my hands and never or at least thoroughly avoid touching my face. Help. How do i get rid of these horrible things.

How long have you been on the tablets for? If it's been 3 days and it's not getting better you should go back to your doctor.
If you have a history of cracked skin or other skin conditions it can make it much easier to catch. Someone can have the bacteria for impetigo on there skin without having symptoms. So it's quite easy to catch.
