Hi im's, can anybody share their experiences with corrective surgery for metopic craniosynostosis? It's a condition where the bones in the babies skull fuse together too early. Potentially it can cause pressure on the brain, therefore corrective surgery is generally needed. We have just been informed that our son has this condition and will need to have the surgery in a few months time, which is quite daunting. I have researched and the procedure it self is quite positive but I am looking to hear people's personal experiences with this, the recovery etc. any positive feedback is welcomed.
