Bed wetting and electric blankets

I have an 8 yr old and a 10yr old who still wet the bed on occasions. It doesn't bother me as it runs in their fathers side of the family. His family were all about 13-14 before they had complete dry nights.

But it is coming into winter and it is very cold where we live and im needing advice on electric blankets and mattress protectors? Every other year the kids have worn pull ups so their electric blankets were safe but now they dont wear them anymore and I'm wanting to know is there a mattress protector that is safe to use with electric blankets?
