I feel like I'm losing my husband. Been together for 15 years and have a few kids together. I've put on a little weight, my hair gets tied in the same pony tail every day, the same kmart clothes every day, always stressing or frustrated- I just feel like a frumpy, boring, stressed out house wife. My husband doesn't look at me the same way he used to. He never tells me I look nice, ever! And there's a girl whom we are very very close to and I've noticed a little flirting going on between them. Of course she's thin, pretty, fun. I want him to look at me the same way he looks at her. Maybe I'm on the verge of depression and just stuck in a rut atm, but I want to change. I want him to be attracted to me again so I won't worry about him straying. How does a stressed out mum with no time, look beautiful?? Does anyone know of any quick weight loss tips? Any quick easy beauty tips? I need advice!!!

Paint your toenails?
Buy a tinted lipstick or gloss and wear it every day? (I wear natio - they're about 20 but a really good shade and fairly natural).
Perfume?
As for weighr loss, exercising will make you feel good too - there are some free '7 mins workout' apps you could put on your phone.
Just because he doesn't say you look beautiful, doesn't mean that he doesn't think it.
Some people just aren't good at vocalizing things like that (my husband included)
You don't need to lose weight to be beautiful. You need to gain confidence.
Work on making yourself beautiful in your eyes - not his - and things should improve.
Kmart has some lovely clothes and make up options, or just shop around for sales. Some of the most lovely dresses/outfits I own cost me between $10-$20.
You don't need to spend hours on your hair or wear a full face of make up. Some tinted face cream, a touch of eyeliner, a dab of lip gloss, and you'll be done within minutes.
Change your hair style, or even your hair colour. Dying my hair something different is always a great way of perking me up when I feel down. A quick braid or a plaitt is a good way to change your hairstyle without much time or effort.
Go out and buy yourself some sexy lingerie as well, and surprise your husband with it after the kids are in bed. Try spicing things back up again.
Make sure you give yourself some 'you' time as well. A bubble bath and a glass of wine is my go-to when I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed.
Hey love do you read? I'm going to suggest reading 'mum on the run' its a great story and the story line is basically what your post is about. You can buy its from google play books if you have an android smart phone but its what inspired me to get fit and active and it was just a lovely story, I found it very relatable and comforting somehow.
However the getting fit and active part for me wasn't for my partner, but it was for myself. To feel good about myself again after having a couple of babies and getting "frumpy".
Make time for yourself to go for a walk each day. Put little kids in the pram, some music in your ears and fresh air and exercise does wonders for your mood.
Im aaaaalways getting stuck in a fashion rut! I actually suck at styling myself and I get to each season and have no idea how to dress myself and cry in my wardrobe about looking "ugly" so I started following some mummy fashion bloggers on instagram and facebook. "Prettychuffed" is fantastic! I love her style and its not expensive and its definitely practical for busy mums! Look her up on facebook/pinterest/instagram.
Hey, don't knock the mummy pony tail! We rock this look babe! ;-)
But yeah I've been there too. I went and got my hair cut a manageable long bob with sweeping side fringe 18 months ago. It looked lovely. It was easy! Its just an idea :)
BUT i want to finish by saying, make the changes because you want to do it for youself, not for your husband because I'm sure he thinks your beautiful. And tell him to stop his flirty bullsh*t!!!
Love from an imperfect, pony tailed, sloppy shirt, hairy toed mum xoxox
I went from a size 16 to a size 8 replacing 2 meals a day with a protein shake. Also, go get your hair and nails done. I get my hair done every 6 weeks and my nails every fortnight and feel so pretty afterwards x
