Hi Ladies,
Im a first time mum to be....I'm booked for a Caesar in 2 weeks as my Baby is in breech position. I'm petrified!!
The obstetrician has asked me to remove the pubic hair on the pubic line where the incision will be.
I usually wax but haven't seen my vagina in months.
My question is - from other mums experiences - what's the best way to remove the hair? That isn't going to be irritating....
If I shave will it be a itchy along with the itch of the wound?
If I wax are ingrown hairs an issue near the wound?
Thanks heaps! :)

Don't over think it. Do what ever is easiest. In the old days they used to just shave it.
If you were having brain surgery they'd just shave it.
If you are worried about itchy could you use hair removal cream???
If you can't see the area very well, a midwife or nurse may be able to help. Dont worry, the hair growing back wont be an issue at all.
I shaved the night before I was induced.. I couldnt see anything, I just winged it lol. I ended up having an emergency ceaser and the regrowth wasnt an issue at all. Didnt feel it, it didn't bother me and the cut was way above the pubic line anyway. Dont over think it, just do whatever is easiest for you.
Get a wax its fine I did it 9 months soo easy
I had my 4th baby but 1st c section 8 weeks ago because baby was breech. I didnt bother doing anything as it was hard to see also i had baby turned a week earlier so was going to go natural. I went in to be induced and baby had turned breech again. The next day they tried turning baby again but didnt work so i had a c section like a hour later. So the midwife started preping me. She got an electric shaver and wrapped sticky guaze around her hand and shaved across the top part touching it whith the sticky guaze to pick the hair up. If you dont or cant do it ask a midwife they can help you.
Go get waxed best thing i ever did it made me feel clean. Shaving irritated me so that's why i wax. Ur going to want to feel comfortable
