Hello all you perfectly perfect imperfect mums. Was just wondering if anyone has ever experienced positive home pregnancy tests (3 different brands) but a negative blood pregnancy test? What was the outcome? Were you pregnant or just faulty tests?
Let me add that the home tests were all read within 4 minutes of doing them.

Would love to hear an update on this. For both my pregnancies, I didn't even bother getting a blood test. The GPs I had at the time were happy that if you have a positive home pregnancy test, combined with a missed period, strongly indicates you're pregnant. So I was referred for ultrasounds later in the pregnancy, and in the meantime made sure I was doing all the recommended things - folate/multivit, avoid alcohol and listeria prone food, etc. Hard to be patient, but only time will tell what's happening. I had 5 positive test 3 different brands negative blood work than af showed up 4 days late. My doctor said it was most likely a chemical pregnancy and from my understanding is where the sperm fertalises the egg but it never implants. Good luck
