My 10 month old daughter is refusing to have her afternoon nap. It's been happening for the past 2 weeks. She'll cry her eyes out to the point of hyperventilating. Her morning nap is at around 10:30-11 and she used to sleep for an hour and a half to two hours. I have only been letting her have an hour because I thought she may be pretty tired for her afternoon nap, but no change. She seems to cope without her afternoon nap, she sleeps fine at night apart from waking once for a feed during the night. I feel like I should just drop her afternoon nap. Any thoughts or ideas?

I'd let her sleep as long as she wants in the morning and drop the afternoon.

I went to 1 sleep at 11am from about 11 months
She coped fine. Do what's best for u and ur family.
My little one started this at 10 months to. I had to drop the afternoon sleep. I just try and keep her up as long as possible so she doesn't go to bed to early otherwise it's a very long afternoon..
