My 2 boys were riding their bikes without training wheels before they turned 3, my daughter was off her training wheels on her actual 4th birthday lol all kids are different, my kids spent all day every day outside playing on their bikes ect so had loads of practice. My daughter is in grade 2 now and there are kids in her class that can't ride a bike at all. I have a friend with a 12yo that can not ride a bike, he's petrified of falling off. Maybe get one of those toddler exercise bikes for your little one, that way he/she can learn to use the pedals (without riding a bike) to get some practice? ?
When my son was in prep the school had a bike riding day. There was huge variances. My son at 5 (prep age)?could ride a bike no training wheels but at 3 he had no interest in peddles. There were kids with training wheels, kids who were scared of bikes, kids who could do tricks.
