Fertility and family

Hi ladies

Iam just wanting to ask a question about fertility.

My son is 6 this June his father and i separated while i was pregnant with him about 6 months to a year after he was born we would just do it (have sex) once or twice a month so i got the depo needle and when my son was 2 i stopped getting it fast forward to now we are both in relationships with other people my ex has been with his gf for almost 2 years and they are expecting there first child together I have been with my for 14 months .

6months into my relationship my partner and i had discussed having a baby and both agreed that it was something we both wanted and have been trying with no luck I have been to the doctor and we are going through tests.

My question is are there any over the counter fertility medications that i could try as my partner and we don't have the money for ivf.

And my second question is would anyone know of a fertility clinic that bulk bills

Not that I am aware of.

There is nothing simple about fertility. Treatment very much is determined by what the problem is.

If it is endometriosis treatment is surgical covered by medicare.

If it is PCOS treatment is diet maybe medications not sure on that but the dietician/specialists can be accessed under medicare

If it is an issue of he doesn't have swimmers you need IVF not all infertility requires IVF some IVF processes are covered by medicare but not all and there are limits on funding.

My partner doesnt have swimmers. He is barely able to talk about it let alone actually take any actions towards IVF. I have 3 children from a prior marriage. As far as he is concerned their father donated sperm and they are his kids so it's pointless looking for another sperm donor. It would be his or nothing.

But that's as much as I have been able to get out of him its very much as non discussion as far as he is concerned.

I had initially thought it was endometriosis stopping things happening but it actually isnt.

As the other person said, there aren't over the counter meds. If someone tries to sell you over the counter it's most likely a scam.

You may not need IVF. You may need medication/surgery/combo etc.
