My 3 year old son is always sick!!! Green snot, cough etc. At least two colds per month and always has a runny nose.. My 3 month old has already caught two colds off him. Our local medical centre are shit, is it worth asking for a referral to a paediatric specialist or does anyone know how to boost immunity?
Extra information - he was born pre-term (36 weeks) and goes to day care two days per week. I would've hoped by two that he'd stop catching everything at daycare though.

Try a kids multivitamin before you spend money on paeds.
Sometimes all they need is a little boost.
And don't think that playing in the dirt and getting grubby is the problem, 9/10 it's the opposite.
Probiotics are better than vitamins for immunity. There's a powdered one at the chemist specifically fo building your child's immunity. Has to be the refrigerated one as that has live bacteria. Also, something as simple as constant handwashing before eating and after going to shops/park etc is usually the best prevention of colds and illness.
I second probiotics ?
The powdered one just add to there drink (or food) once a day and they should be right ? I'm doing it with my 2 kids atm too
They grow out of it annoying as it is it's quite normal.
My 2 were the same at that age always sick. Mow that they are older very rarely do they get sick as their immune system is alot stronger
Definately the probiotic daily and I wouldn't go to a paed as this sounds totally normal to me... Although I know how much it sucks! My daughter is 4 now and in the last 6-9 months she has been really good. Hang in there but yeah hand washing all the time goes a long way :-)
