I think I want to have a forth child but am in two minds. It's such a massive decision. I guess I'm just asking for stories, of other ladies who were in this position and what did you do?

My situation was a little different to yours it took us 3yrs to decide to have number 3 which looking back was a bit too long as that felt ment to be. I fell unplanned with number 4 and was absolutely beside myself as l was soooo happy with our complete family. My heart decided after many wks of tears and shock that l had to keep number 4. It has all worked out as l have 2 boys then the younger 2 girls. In saying that there is barely a day that l dont feel like l have 'bitten off more than l can chew'.... 2-3 was easy 3-4 phew its too much most of the time. We upgraded car to a 7 seater that just didnt work with no storage space even for school bags and a fuel guzzler so l down sized again. I have found that the social invites as a family have dropped off over the yrs because most feel having 4 is too many. If its in your heart go with it , you will be able to cope better than me because its a planned and true feeling in your heart.
