I had my third baby 9 weeks ago. I had the normal bleeding after birth, except I found it took way longer for it to stop this time. It didn't really stop until somewhere around 7 weeks post birth, and now just over the weekend, I've started bleeding again. Is it possible it's just the return of my period? I felt like I barely had a break between the post baby bleed and this so I'm not sure if it is or not. I'm breastfeeding, too - and my baby doesn't sleep all night, so I don't know that I'd have even had a chance to ovulate?! Is this normal? I'm a bit confused! Thanks

It could be the return of your period. It took me almost 10 weeks to stop bleeding after my son although the last 4 weeks were very light. It's why I'm amazed people jump into sex straight away! lol there was no way I could have done with looking like a murder scene!!
Anyway go to your doctor. Your health is with it!
