Hi all im just wanting (nice) opinions on weight loss while pregnant. Im not talking crazy weight loss just a little every week. Im pregnant with my 4th baby, 92kgs, 159cms tall. I get hypertension in the 3rd trimester, uncontrolled and this lead to the early (2 weeks) birth of my last baby. I was in and out of hospital for the last 5 weeks of pregnancy and it was a horrible experience. So naturally this time im worried about the 3rd trimester and wanted to loose a little weight to be around 88kgs or so before i get there (currently 15 weeks). I will also be having another c section so i want to be a little healthier and lighter for this aswell. So what do you think? Should i just plod along gaining more and more or try and loose a little?
Thanks everyone.

It's certainly OK to loose/maintain some weight while you are pregnant. But please speak to your doctor about what would be healthy for you and baby.
I'd say eat healthy and the required amounts avoid fad diets and don't over limit yourself food wise. Walking is great exercise look for local pregnancy pilates or yoga classes they are great. Keep in mind your fitness levels prepregnancy while exercise is great for you during pregnancy it's not the time to start new strenuous activities. Overall the basic key to weight loss is calorie deficiency if you are not overeating you will not gain unnecessary weight (don't undereat either)
Just be healthy. Exercise to stay fit and flexible, eat lots of good foods to nourish you and baby. Avoid the junk.
Don't get crazy dieting and over exerting your body right now, but you can be healthy.
You're baby is growing and your body is growing a baby, it needs what it needs, it's only a couple of months, focus on that now and go weight loss crazy afterwards if you want to.
Apart from discussing this with your gp/obstetrician I'd be inclined to see a dietician to help you with this. They should help you choose the right meal plan (i.e eating protein to keep you full longer).
Also swimming is amazing exercise with minimal impact on the joints so I'd look into that too. Good luck!

They have heaps to help pregnant woman and women post partum.
Definitely go and see a dietitian to make sure you are getting all of your nutrients, but small amounts of weight loss should be fine in pregnancy :)
