What are people's opinions experiences with things like Netflix, Stan, tbox, fetch tv.
We currently have austar / foxtel but cancelling due to tightening the budget. Am just curious how others find alternatives on price , value, pros n cons if you have several tried several, how easy / difficult to set up or use.
Also looking for new internet provider live rural Vic, if anyone highly recommends anyone.

Netflix/Stan etc are very similar - lots of available content for not much money. What you will find is that there aren't many brand-new movies on them. Which for me is fine but others might not like it. I've just signed up with Netflix and loving it - price is up to $15per month and that's to watch on a number of devices simultaneously (tv, tablet, phone etc). I'm not sure about Stan but with NF you do either need a SmartTV or an internet-connected games console like XBox or PS4. TBox and Fetch are through your internet/phone provider and I can't really comment on those.
Internet - we are on the Mornington Peninsula and we use TPG. We get unlimited data plus line rental for $59.99 per month. We have had very few issues with their service and we've been with them for 2 years. I don't know how far out of Melbourne they'll do unlimited to though. I would highly recommend them though.
Netflix is cheap enough. I barely notice it coming out of my account.
It's on 24/7, but I'm usually watching the same things over and over, haha.
There's a fair selection, but I can't wait to get the same options as American Netflix!
I have netflix and pay $12 a month, i dont like it at all as ive seen all the movies on there and theres not alot of new ones. We only keep it because my hubby likes it. Very easy to set up, no contract i can subscribe and unsubscribe as i please
I have Netflix and love it.
It's not really good for movies. They are on there but they're older. I enjoy the tv series that are on there.
They also have Netflix only ones such as orange is the new black and the last kingdom plus more. It's cheap, convenient and entertaining.
