I am about to start a business from home looking after children. I currently work a retail job, usually only a saturday shift due to caring for my child through the week. Do i keep the retail job when i start my business? Or do i quit so that I have a weekend of downtime. I will be working full time during the week. I have worked my retail job for 8 years.

Up to you, I think personally you'll need the family time. But I suppose it depends how much money expect to make with new arrangements
