11 week old baby overfed??

Hi,
My little man is 11 weeks old, he was born a big boy 9 pound 2 and is now 15 plus pounds. He is on lactose free formula he drinks 1140mls sometime more daily drinking 120-180mls each time sometimes with a extra 30-60ml top up. Between 5am-12pm he'll feed every 2 hours then have a 3 hour nap than a bottle around 3 than 5 than every hour in till 8-10pm he will than sleep between 6-10 hours than start all over. As you can see he is very unsettled from 5pm onwards, we have tried everything it seems but he will scream the house down till he gets a bottle in which he works himself up so much it takes awhile for him to suckle properly, he will shake his head and scream than finally latches and would drink in mins if we let him. He is also teething doctor confirmed at 4 weeks the poor guy, I know teething prob has a big part in this but I also think he is being over fed, I cannot see a pedi for another 2 weeks anyone with any advice please and thank you

Between 2 weeks to around 4 months they go through a fussy period. It's peak should be at around 6-8 weeks. It's usually at night or afternoon when they cry/be unsettled and want comfort in the form of drinking/breastfeeding. This feeding so much at night is called cluster feeding and they do it so they can get their milk before doing a long stretch. My bubs used to do it too.
Also check of period of purple crying (I think it's called) and also the wonder weeks. They're super good for cognitive growth spurts when baby is really unsettled and crying increases.
Also another issue we had when my girl was this young was wind. She was full and was uncomfortable with wind so would want to ease her discomfort by drinking. We just burped her more (half way during a feed as well) and did different burping positions. Also try gripe water (if bubs is old enough). That helps baby expel gas!
Good luck with your new bubs! It gets so much better at 4 months and unbelievably bubs is more and more beautiful and playful everyday :) it's the best!

My son now 5 mths did the same for awhile around 8 wks it was a very stressful time as my milk had dried up and we where trying to find a formula that aggreed with him. I worked out the best way for him is to have a strict afternoon/ nighttime routine. His grumpy hour starts about 5pm I end up playing with him he now has his food then by 6 his having a warm bath, bottle and his in bed by 7. I found his a creature of habit and has thrived on routine which works for us as his the youngest of 3. In relation to over feeding if his a big baby then of course his going to eat a lot perhaps try a thickener in his bottles to help fill him up more. I also found and some ppl will look down on this but my first son at 11/12 wks was always hungry and screamed the house down continuously till my MIL suggested trying some solids turns out he was always hungry and just needed something more than milk. This may be the case for you little boy aswell, even tho it's recommended to start solids at 4mths sometimes bigger babies just need it earlier
