Pelvic Floor troubles

PELVIC FLOOR, WILL IT EVER RECOVER?

I've had two babies. My first was a forceps delivery, and I really struggled with my pelvic floor for a long time after her birth. Since having my second child, I don't feel like it is as bad as it used to be, but I still can't run/sprint, and right before my period, I feel a heaviness from my cervix.

This is really effecting my self confidence, and my sex life. I desperately want to get fit again, but walking just isn't cutting it for me and anything higher impact and I have to wear a pad and then stop because I find it so upsetting. It's really starting to get me down. I feel so unattractive. I do kegles when I can remember, but I'm just so so so scared that this is my new normal.

Has anyone had pelvic floor issues post delivery and been able to resolve it well enough to be able to run again? What did you do to help it? Please help!! I wools love to hear some positive success stories!
