Breastfeeding- one period. Haven't got another one yet

Hi everyone, my little girl is 4 months old, last month I got my first period since having her. It was heavier than normal, but no pains like I usual would get. I think I was meant to have gotta another one by now. My partner and I ain't using protection but he pulls out every time. I'm breastfeeding- little miss had been sleeping though the night but lately waking and feeding & starting her on bottle aswell. Anyone else only got one period or they came all different times? I don't think I could be pregnant- I just am eating a load more than normal too.

You very well could be pregnant. The pull out method is so extremely unreliable. There can be sperm in precum or on the head of the penis before he has even put it inside of you.
Women have been known to get pregnant before they even have there first period!
Breastfeeding is also NOT protective against pregnancy.

If by some chance you aren't pregnant, and don't want to be pregnant get yourself on contraceptive ASAP.

But I think you are pregnant.

You do know that the pull out method isn't an effective form of birth control don't you? It's how I fell pregnant with my 3rd child. Breast feeding can mess with your periods but do a pregnancy test to be sure.

You won't be necessarily back to normal cycle immediately, especially with breastfeeding.

But agreeing with the others - get a pregnancy test and get yourself on contraception immediately if it's not something that you want!

You can fall pregnant while breastfeeding. Only way to prevent pregnancy is to not have sex. The pull out method is not a reliable one to not fall pregnant. If you don't want to fall pregnant, you really need to go some form of contraceptive.
It is also possible to not have another period for many months while breastfeeding. Some women get their periods while breastfeeding and others don't.
