Hi sisterhood,

Is it tightening and then loosening at times? If it's on and off it could be Braxton hicks. Or is it more like you feel your skin taught, stretching and rubbing on clothes?
Definitely talk to your GP but yeah, pregnancy is bloody uncomfortable!
It gets really tight and then loose, but stays tight for a little while then goes loose. Sorry im a first time mum never experienced any of this and I live on a rural farm so don't really have any one to talk to or ask. It surely is uncomfortable
It sounds like Braxton hicks, google them and see if the symptoms fit. I found when I was just sitting around they eased off a bit but activity made them kick in.
If they seem more painful than the description for Braxton-hicks definitely check in with your doctor/midwife/hospital.
Could be Braxton hicks. I have been recently in hospital for ongoing ones (every minute for a while) at 25 weeks. Thankfully cervical length wasn't shortening. The advice I was told by my obstetrician was to come back in if there are more than 5 tightenings in one hour. Try to rest and drink lots of water, if they are not going away speak to a doctor as it could be a sign of early labour!
Sounds like braxton hicks to me miss :) if there is no increasing pain or show then you will be fine.. if you have concerns definately go to your doctor
Kelly here from The Imperfect Mum Team - and I need you to see a doctor about this. I know you live rural from your response below - but medical questions deserve a personal professional - and you deserve it mumma!!!
Hope everything is ok x
