Hi all
How do I tell my partner he has gained a lot of weight? I don't want to hurt his feelings but he takes no pride in himself and I try to look my best all the time.
He just doesn't seem to care about his personal appearance and sometimes I am embarrassed to go out with him in public.

Don't you either love each other no matter how you look or yob aren't right for each other. If you are embarrassed, set him free nobody should have a partner who is embarrassed by there appearance.

why are you so obsessive about your appearance and what other people think about you? you should love your partner no matter what.
Sorry but if you are embarrassed by him because of a bit of weight please end it! He deserves better! If it was a guy saying 'my girlfriend has put on weight, it's embarrassing in public' everyone would be jumping down the guys throat saying how dare he treat her like that, she is beautiful the way she is... Why is it so different for guys?? Maybe because you care so much about how you look it has made him insecure. Have you thought that maybe he isn't the problem at all??
