Toddler behaving badly

Toddler behaving badly

Hey mummas
I am just after some advise or recommendations about toddler behaviour!! My babies are 13 months apart my daughter is almost 9 months and my son will be 2 in January!! In the last few weeks my son has almost become a different kid! He won't stop hitting me and my partner and his sister! If my daughter is sitting up playing he will come over and deliberately push her over! He goes to kindy two days a week and apparently he is an angel! I definAtly think its a jealousy thing! I don't feed him any sugar and he has a very clean diet! So I know it's not food related!! He is also waking up at 3-4am and won't go back to sleep! Has anyone else gone through this or can any one offer some advise??

Every time my baby went through something like this she was working on a developmental leap, and it'd be hard work and then she'd have her breakthrough and it'd all settle down again. Try to find out what it is hes working on. Sounds like it is jealousy and handling new emotions. Try to give him words to describe his feelings. Are you angry? Are you sad? He might not know why but just validate his feelings and teach him to express them and get a hug and that we feel angry but it's wrong to push. Etc etc
