Update - positives of an only child
My heart is bursting reading the replies to my post. This community of women is AMAZING.
I am a single mum with an illness that prevents me from having any more who is proud to raise a compassionate, loving, funny little man who is far from spoiled. As many of you said he will have friends and cousins and after taking a step back and looking you are right he has a wonderful network of friends that love him and when he gets to see his cousins they treat him like a brother. I have never missed a school event and I am not distracted when he needs someone to listen to him. So again thank you for reminding me that it doesn't matter if you have 1 or 10 as long as you love them x
