im a 30 year old mum to 5 kids (all girls) have always been regular with AF other then the the obvious ^ but this month I'm 12 days late did a HP test but it came back negative, not sure what to think, if it turns out I'm preg it will be a shock as DH had a vasectomy 2 yrs ago.

It can be lots of things, stress, aging, polyps on the cervix, weight loss or gain seriously 100 things. The most obvious is pregnancy. I know 30 doesn't seem old to start having hormonal changes etc but lots of womens cycles begin to change at this age. So try not to stress and stress can delay periods lol But there is no such thing as a 100% effective contraceptive. I always use two, and so does my sister who is a doctor :)
So I'd head of to the GP to rule out pregnancy for sure and then go from there.
Hi, I am just wondering, if you don't mind me asking, did you end up being pregnant? I am currently in the same position as yourself. I have 3 children already, 32yrs old, regular periods, that have only ever had my period stop when pregnant. I am now 18 days late & all HPT's I've done have come back negative & my Hubby had a vasectomy 2.5yrs ago, but my concern is, we never got the final sperm count check done. We just assumed it worked, so now I am really lost as to what to think. :-)
