Body building advice

Anyone into body building?? I don't Want to get massive but I want to lift and build and craft my body that way.
I cannot afford a gym or a trainer, nor do I have space for machines just Dumbbells and maybe a bar with plates.

I have been researching but am feeling really overwhelmed. The food etc, do you really need to use protien shakes all the time?

Can anyone tell me what is takes, mentally, to stick it out, how you maintain/work out your food, what you need to cut out and what your workout routine is like (time, frequency)? I'm not looking to compete just to enjoy the lifting and fitness.

Thanks ladies

sorry spelt that wrong Sean Flanagan.

He has some very cheap programs you can buy (like dirt cheap) that can be done at home with very limited equipment. Best of all he is not about selling myths and quick fixes. He is about moderation, improving from where you are, and not selling nonsense.

And no you don't have to drink the shakes. They mostly taste revolting!

Cooking your own food, monitoring your fat and sugar intake, maintaining a small calorie deficit (most people go too extreme).

Work out your BMR and TDEE and that will give you a guide on what you should be eating.
