I feel like I'm losing my mind. I had a baby 4 months ago and also have a 3yr old. And just the things im saying is starting to worry me. My husband talks to me and i answer him then 10 seconds later im asking him what he just said because i cant remember. I start to tell him something then he says you already told me that. Is this just a baby brain thing? Has anyone else been through this and needed professional help? Or did it pass. Thanks

Are you sleep deprived? Because that can do it. Also weird hormonal things can make it happen. My advice: if you're worried, go see someone. It can't hurt, especially if you're worried the forgetfulness might put someone in danger.
sleep doc may be able to help could even be sleep apnea.
"I had a baby 4 months ago" I read that and remembered waking up hysterical one morning because there were no bottles or diapers in my house...where were my babies babies were gone....and them I stumbled over the teenagers installed throughout my living room.....ahhhh that's where they went.
sleep deprivation, exhaustion, hormones, it passes
It continues for the rest of their life in your house ? remind yourself that you DO have a 4month old AND and 3yr old! You need sleep and time out and maybe a bloody good drink to find you again. I have a teenager who has picked up on my baby brain and makes out like I said something different and tries to get away with lots. Don't tell the kids lol
Get your thyroid checked at the dr. Get you t3,t4,rt3,rt4, tsh and thyroid antibodies (this one in particular ) checked, all in a blood test. It is so common a fter having babies that your thyroid may play up. Your thyroid controls everything especially your memory and fatigue. Many ppl mistake a thyroid problem for depression as thyroid controls moods too. May not be the problem but worth a check. Let us know how you go.
This happened to me too - I'm pretty sure that for me it was mostly sleep deprivation that I hadn't picked up on. I thought I was pretty good at getting by on broken sleep but it caught up with me and I seriously thought I was getting early onset Alzheimer's. My husband has since been really helpful overnight, and I also started taking big doses of vitamin B supplements and a few others (I think Mega Magnesium from Ethical Nutrients was one of them). I have my memory back, and feel so much more 'normal'. I do think the supplements helped - other family members notice mood and memory changes if they don't take the occasional B vitamin. Good luck xo
