Did you google the phone number? Sometimes people attach there number to there Facebook accounts etc so it might come up, if the person is stupid enough!
If they are threatening make sure you contact police.
It could even be a web to text service tbh it could be one way only. Unless the messages are ongoing and not a once only no telecommunications company will do anything
