I'm jus after similar stories and their outcomes, options, etc..
My sister-in-law is 20 weeks pregnant with their first. Today she had her 20 week scan and found out the baby has a hole in his heart. She hasn't been able to get onto her obs today, but has her appointment tomorrow. In the meantime, we're all going crazy with worry.
Has anyone gone through the same experience? What happened? Thanks.

Doctors will let her know what they can and can't do. My cousin had a hole in her heart.... she is still getting around almost 40 yo now
My best friends little one had a hole in his heart and once he was born and strong enough they gave him surgery. He is 5 and at school and is super active and healthy. You wouldn't even know he had a problem at birth. Goodluck!
It really depends on the severity but my friends baby was born with one and didn't need any intervention at all. He came home from hospital as if an ordinary baby, no extra care needed. So try not to worry until you know the details (I know easier said than done).
