I need your help. Master 3 was toilet trained from 2.5 years. When I returned to work (part-time 8 weeks ago) he had a regression and starting pooing his pants every single time. It's now been two weeks and no accidents in his pants. The issue is though- he poos outside. He refuses to go to the toilet. Any ideas or suggestions? Bribes and rewards do not interest him. He's a clever child and wise beyond his years. This is causing many frustrations. Many thanks.

compromise, give him a potty to use in the backyard and then when he is doing that successfully get him to flush it down the loo. Then later your next step could be the potty in the bathroom and then back to the toilet.
I have no idea if it will work or not, but I suspect going hard core wont so this is a compromise I could live with with a 3 year old.
