So lost without my daughter when she is with her father

My 7 year old daughter spends every second weekend with her dad. She has been since age 1. I am single and have anxiety and depression (I see a psychologist and have tried medication with bad side effects.)

When she is at her dads I feel so lost and lonely and end up drinking a lot to pass the time, which ends up making me feel worse. Because of my social anxiety I don't really have friends and find it hard to leave the house without my daughter on these weekends.

Just wondering if anyone else is in the same situation, looking for a way to keep busy I suppose.

Get some hobbies, decorate a room, cook some meals and freeze them, learn how to sew, take long baths, read a book about cognitive behaviour therapy, meditate, do some yoga (in your lounge), do some gardening, go for a walk with head phones on. Watch a movie that's not appropriate for your daughter, masturbate, do a puzzle, chat to strangers on oasis.

This could be my story! It takes awhile. I reconnected with my old school friends and took up scrapbooking and going to the gym. Now I can't wait for her to go to her dad's because it means I get to do stuff for me without feeling guilty about leaving her behind!
