I'm considering studying a Bachelor of Nursing full time as a mature aged student (early 30's). I'm interested to hear from anyone else who has done the same as a mature aged student, especially if they had difficulty gaining a graduate position or employment?

My MIL started her nursing degree in her mid 40s. Her sons were teenagers so able to look after themselves while she was on placement. She was offered a number of post grad positions and took one about 9 hours away. The post grad position that she took was in a mental health unit, attached to a bigger hospital. She has been there for 2-3 years now and has never been short of extra shifts.
