Any Signs

Hi Ims
Im just curious as to what signs you had right before you went into labour? I am currently 38 weeks of a very difficult pregnancy and have had enough. I feel exhausted only sleeping maybe if lucky 3/4 broken hrs a night. I am extremely uncomfortable all day/night and the only thing that works is having a warm soak in the bath which I do at least 3 times a day. I know this sounds horrible but I think if I had to go through this for even another day its well and truly going to break. I would love to hear any stories about your days you have leading up to going into labour.

I think the last part of the pregnancy is the horrible part! Im only 5ft and I was so huge out front, moving around was uncomfortable, baby pressing on lungs and bladder. I found sleeping with about 8 pillows to prop me into position worked the best, but still. My sciatica was terrible. I think it's quite normal to be feeling a bit ratty at this point.

I had a big blob of mucus the morning before I went into labour. (My water broke at midnight) it was a snotty/greeny/yellowey looking big clump. Id been having lots of tummy tightening and Braxton hicks for weeks leading up too. The week before I was constantely going to the toilet from about 10pm-1am in fear of my waste breaking in bed. Lucky for me it happened on one of my many trips to the toilet. Bub is 1 day old today so all very fresh in my mind.

I.looked and.looked for signs, every back twinge etc but nothing, I had mucus for a while one night and the next day, then blood that night, then that night the real backache started I was awake and couldn't sleep through it, by morning they were real labour contractions.

I had absolutely no signs until my waters broke at 3am in the morning. Before that I felt completely normal. I suppose it's different with every woman. Just try and listen to your body xo

My pre-labour signs were period-like pain, real crampy feelings down low in my belly in the morning, I was in labour that same night.

I hope your bubba makes his/her appearance soon!
