I'm due to have a baby in 5 weeks. I finished my job for good in my current position last week.
So on my paid parental leave application should I put down that I'm unemployed but have worked the last 10 months & done 330 hours.? Or should I put down my employer details even though I'm not returning to work there!?

Ask Centrelink.
Oh for god sakes why can't I ask what other people think? Obviously I know that so there is no need to comment if your gonna be a smart ass on my question! I don't feel like sitting on the phone for over an hour or taking a sick three year old with tonsillitis in the office and having to wait.
Bugger off!
Hopefully someone can actual answer my question?
I would put down their details, but explain the job finished. Otherwise I thibk Centrelink sends your payment to them to pay you.
Thankyou. Would centrelink pay me directly though if I'm not employed but qualify for the payment?
Sorry I wasn't trying to be a smart-arse and I apologise.
It's important to get this stuff correct though - if you want your application to be processed and start being paid asap then it's better to get it right the first time and asking Centrelink directly is a better option than getting a bunch of different answers. You can request a callback so you don't have to sit on hold.
I got the PPL and Centrelink paid my employer the money and then I kept getting paid on my normal work payday every fortnight. I am not sure in your case tho if you have finished for good with employer theyay just have to pay out the ppl payments for 4.5 months.
