Hi Ladies,
I have a two and a half year old who just doesn't listen to me, he listens to his father but he works away and it is starting to really get to me. I have tried everything, he just does not listen, I feel like I am forever saying 'no!' It is starting to make me feel like I am not a good mum. We have a 4 month old baby who he is fantastic with, so I don't know if this has made a difference or if it is just the 'terrible twos'.
I guess I just want to know if I am not alone, if it is a phase and if anyone has any tips?

Don't let this get to you hun. Your son loves and adores you! You sound like a wonderful mum ☺ My daughter was exactly the same! (She's now almost 4, she was 2 at the time) But once I had my son and we moved homes, all she wanted was daddy. She would ignore me, it's like I wasn't even there! It really did hurt me and make me upset. Trust me, it is just a phase. Don't treat him any different, just act as you always do. Big changes, especially there being a new sibling can definitely make a big impact. It will pass. My daughter now can't get enough of me! Lol. All the best mumma xxx
