Hi IM's just looking for some advice.
My 2 year old son got a cold at the start of June. He got better but his snotty nose never cleared up. He also started snoring loudly around this time. 1 month later at the start of July he had bilateral earaches so I took him to the doctor and the doctor said he had ear infections caused by his blocked nose. He gave him a course of antibiotics and said it would all clear up. Well his ears got better but his nose was still blocked. I took him back and the doctor gave him Nasonex nasal spray. He said to use it for 1-2 months and if still no improvement he has to see an ENT specialist. His been using the spray for a few days but it's not doing anything except making his snoring quieter. The poor boy can only breathe from his mouth and now he's dribbling (he was never a dribbler) because his mouth has to be open to breathe and it's caused a rash on his chin.
We are going through a box of tissues a week just for him. It never stops. Any advice, tips, personal stories would be appreciated! Thanks.

A family I know just had their 2 year olds tonsils removed and something done with his grommets in the ears which were causing the snoring and runny noses. She was having the exact problem as you with the runny nose and ear aches etc she said now he is like a different child. Obviously your son could be completely different but just thought I would share
