Im a single stay at home mum to a 3 year old and a six year old.
They stay at there dads every second weekend.
I dont like being around other small children on my two days child free.
my couples friends dont really understand.
Am i alone with feeling like this?

No you are not alone in this. When my kids go to their dad's place I don't want to hang out with people's kids I want to hang out with people, more so adults. I want to spend my time enjoying myself and being a human being. You are completely normal mumma. Enjoy your you time. :)

I'm not a single mum but my partner works away 12 on 2 off so I can sort of relate.
Occasionally my dad and his wife will take my kids for a night and I get incredibly irritated when others bring their kids around when I'm having a well deserved break!
Half the time I get annoyed when anyone comes around during the day because I'd rather lay around watching movies in bed and relaxing then dinner with friends unless I have something planned previously!
