Just wanting to hear of anyone's experiences of being pregnant whilst on medication (desiccated thyroid extract not thyroxine) for hypothyroidism. How was the pregnancy - Did you have energy (especially if this was second pregnancy and still had to look after toddler)? How was bubs when born? How were you after pregnancy? (Tired, run down, sick, etc).

Have you spoken to a medical professional about this yet? I don't want to post your question if you haven't yet seen a professional as your needs and results will be different to other peoples and I don't want to put you or your little one at risk with other peoples experiences...

I have been in contact with the original poster and they are under direction by a doctor and they are not currently pregnant - but discussing for the future
They are interested to hear about other peoples experiences as this is rare....
