My 5yo and another in their class were caught with their pants down in a small tent in kinder room. It has eventually come out that it was my child's initiation (and almost fully admitted too) this is the second time it has happened. They do not watch anything with that sort of content. What is the best punishment for this sort of behaviour? And also extremely embarrassing for parents involved.

Firstly this is very normal behaviour! Since time began kids have been comparing parts. I would be more focused on teaching him/her about private public behaviour etc rather than punishment as such. Also answering any questions about body parts openly etc .
