Imperfect mums of the world,
this may trigger some people. im unsure if im over reacting as a step mother or if im right.. my step son is 8, hes a typical boy, runs a muck out side ect, my partner and i have him one night per forghtnight, (not our choice we would love to have him more) and as of late he has been showing some shocking behaviour. hes beeb flashing his privates to his cousin on the car ride home from their forghtnightly visit.
we have mentioned to his mother that we think its wrong because hes older now and shouldnt be flashing privates. well thats what i feel and hubby feels that way also, but baby mumma just laughed about it and said boys will be boys. i told him its wring and not to do it, but what 8 year old listens to their step mother. :/ guess the question is am i over reacting? and what should i do from here ? :(

Yeah boys do this, but it should be being corrected! I wonder if he has done it at school? If he hasn't he probably knows it's wrong. I'd definitely be telling him off if he did it when in my care. Wouldn't matter who his parents were! Id also be giving him the heads up that you know what he did in car and giving him a big chat about WHY it's not appropriate.
My brother used to be naked all the damn time at home up until around the age of 11 when Mum and Dad told him it had to stop as he was getting older. Maybe Dad should have a chat about what is and isn't appropriate.
