Success in toddler moving into new bed!

Hi IM mums!
So my husband and I decided we would move our little girl into a new room with the new furniture so we can keep the same furniture in her original room and keep that as a nursery. We moved her new room yesterday. We have been playing in there etc and she loves it. (She's just turned 2 and I'm 30weeks preg)
So she had her first two sleeps in there. She seemed scared and i laid on her bed until she fell asleep for the first time as she didn't want to stay in there when I left the room. And she was asleep within 5mins.
And for her night slept we tried the putting her back in but she was too scared and became upset so I sat on the floor this time until she fell asleep which was about an 1 1/2 and slept all night and got up her normal time and came into us.
For today's sleep it only took her 5mins with me on the floor.
I just wondering how other people went with this transition.
And any tips you may have on helping her become more settled. I think Ill keep trying the leaving the room and then sitting in there but just further away each time. But would love to hear what you did and your success'!
